Do I need an account or an app?
No. It works in the browser with no account or password.
How big can files be?
Up to 1GB per file and 5GB per room.
How long does a room last?
60 minutes after pairing, then it self-destructs. You can also destroy it at any time.
How many people can join?
Up to 20 per room. Anyone with the same code can join later.
Can you see my files?
No. Files, names and chat are encrypted in your browser. Our server only has ciphertext and never receives the key.
What happens if my phone locks or I switch apps?
When you return, the page reconnects automatically and uploads resume. Keep the page in the foreground while uploading for best results.
Why can't my friend join with the code?
The code may have expired or been mistyped, or everyone in the room may be offline. Ask someone in the room to return to the page and try again.
What if someone else sees my code?
Anyone with the code can join, so only share it with people you trust. After too many wrong guesses the code or room stops accepting newcomers.
Will big downloads crash my phone?
Files are decrypted while downloading and written to the browser's private storage instead of memory. Very old browsers are limited to 200MB.

Yes, it's completely free for now.
