How it works
No sign-up and nothing to install. Just open the page.
1. Open the site, get a code
The home page shows a 10-character pairing code like 07QM-2XPA9R, plus a QR code and share link. At this point the server only notes that someone is waiting; no room exists and no storage is used.
2. A friend enters the code
They type the code on the home page, scan the QR code, or open the share link. Both browsers verify the last 6 characters with each other. Only then is the room created and the 60-minute countdown starts.
3. Share files and chat
Drop files into the room and they are encrypted while uploading, up to 1GB each and 5GB per room. Others can download them and chat. Anyone else with the same code can join later, up to 20 people.
4. Destroyed when time's up
After 60 minutes the room, its files and chat are deleted. You can also hit Destroy now at any time.
What if my phone drops off?
Rooms don't vanish just because people go offline for a while. Return to the page and it reconnects automatically, and uploads continue where they stopped. One limitation: if everyone in the room is offline, newcomers cannot join because nobody can verify their code.
